The Ranger is a small portable, around 184 sq in of cooking surface. The use case is tailgating, camping, or balcony cooking where you want Traeger build quality without a full-size grill. Around 27 kg assembled with carry handles.

It runs the same pellet system as larger Traegers, so the parts and service network is the same. There is no WiFi on this unit and the 450 °F ceiling limits searing.

If your primary need is one grill that handles a typical family cook, this is undersized. It works well as a second cook surface or a travel unit.

The 200A is a tabletop format pellet smoker, around 202 sq in, listed at approximately €379. It is the most controller-modern of the three at this end of the price range. Z Grills lists a PID 2.0 controller and includes two meat probes in the box, which is unusual at this price point.

The hopper is small, so longer cooks need refills. The form factor is the smallest of the three.
